Call for Further Nominations – Patuharakeke Trust Board

E te whānau, tēnā koutou katoa,

Following the recent nomination period for trustee vacancies on the Patuharakeke Trust Board, we wish to advise that an insufficient number of nominations were received to fill all vacant positions.

In accordance with our Trust Deed and to ensure full representation for our hapū, we are now calling for further nominations to fill the remaining vacancies.

Further Nominations Now Open

We invite whānau to submit nominations for candidates who are committed to serving Patuharakeke, upholding our values, and contributing to the governance and strategic direction of our Trust Board.

Eligibility

 To stand as a Trustee, nominees must:

• Be a Registered Adult Member of Patuharakeke

• Be 18 years or older

• Not be an employee of the Trust or any Trust entity

• Not be an employee, trustee, or director of another iwi PSGE within Te Taitokerau

• If standing as a Resident Trustee, be domiciled in Te Taitokerau

How to Nominate

• Complete the Nomination Form, click on this link. PTB - Trustee Nomination form.docx

• Ensure it is completed and signed by two registered adult nominators.

• If wanting to register: www.patuharakeke.maori.nz

• Include an optional Candidate Profile Statement (up to 250 words)

• Attach a brief curriculum vitae containing details of experience relevant to the role of Trustee

• Submit by 5:00pm, Wednesday 12th August 2026
